I have a system when it comes to shoes, during the winter when I am doing a mix of school and work it's all about the flats. There is nothing more nonsensical than attempting to race from buildings miles (I lie, but they sure feel that way sometimes) apart in heels. Thus I stock up on plenty of cute flats for the fall season looking fashionable and being comfortable. Come winter there's a mix of cute boots, come hell-or-high-water boots, and death-by-sexy boots. These boots come in a variety of heel and material which is determined by the outside weather. Summer is all about the heels and more daring shoe choices.
Still right smack in the middle of winter and spring I have found myself looking a little bit more at the BC Footwear line in general. BC Footwear has a bit of the 60's flavor in the year 2009, usually marked by earthy solids and floral print they tend to focus on more comfortable shoes: low heel boots, flats, sneakers. Their's a bit of a tongue in cheek charm to their marketing and as an owner of one of their boots I got to say they make a great product. The whole reason I'm a little fascinated by these shoes is because of the first image they brought to my mind (see post title).
On the one hand I'm not rushing out to buy these shoes...on the other...they have made their way onto this blog.
